New York Psychology Practice

A Modern Therapy Group

We are a practice who supports people in New York City, which means to include everyone. We work often with people who are navigating relationship, career, and cultural identity issues. We speak to clients who want to cultivate a deeper sense of meaning, happiness, and personal growth. Clinical problems such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, trauma, OCD, and ADHD we are specialized in. Other issues we treat include grief and loss, problems specific to men and women, pregnancy and motherhood, high stress careers, therapy for therapists, having a public image, new jobs and moving, imposter syndrome, and low self esteem. We offer individual, couples, adolescent, and family therapy. We provide all therapy services remotely, and accept insurance.

Insurance coverage depends on your specific plan, and when inquiring for a phone consultation, please send us a copy of the front and back of your insurance card. When looking at your insurance card it says an in-network and if you have an out-of-network benefits a second deductible amount. That is the amount you will pay toward medical expenses out-of-pocket for the year, and once that has been met then your therapy sessions will be covered at a percentage or at the predetermined "allowed amount" for therapy services depending on your insurance carrier. The percentage covered of your therapy sessions may be stated on your insurance card, typically it will be 60-100% covered, and you can call member services to confirm these details or we may be able to clarify on your behalf. All medical expenses go toward the annual deductible. I recommend before starting therapy to determine costs and to verify the benefits of your specific plan and to submit a claim early in the therapeutic process. Reduced fee and probono services are provided on a case-by-case basis and determined by income. We are now in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, and Oscar.
